Eric analyzes sacrifice from the perspectives of self-gain, obedience, and altruism, and further compares the sacrifice with the obedience, analyzing the scriptures so to adjust our priorities. Christians always seem to think that sacrifice is the best we can do as Christians, pointing to Jesus's 'Ultimate Sacrifice', but neglect that the only reason His sacrifice worked is because of His ultimate obedience.
In 'What Does It Mean' Eric debunks a silly myth from the book of Jonah 4, that a 'Giant Hell-Wurm' arose and ate Jonah's tree. It's actually just a cute little worm that looks like this:
